A few months ago I started getting into my reader, adding a ton of subscriptions and making plans for less TV. Not too surprisingly I've almost entirely been ignoring the tech feeds (not great for work) and have been engrossed in many design, fashion, photography and art blogs. Apparently I've rediscovered my inner design goddess. In my next life I want to make something with my hands as a career. Until then I'll just blog about it: On Maiden Lane. The site is still work in progress as I figure out the colors and stuff.
Gimme a V! Gimme an O! Gimme an X! What's that spell? VOX!
What better way to tell the world how much you love Vox than to announce it on Facebook? That's right: Vox now has an official Facebook page! Become a fan of Vox.com on Facebook and let your friends know what you really care about: staying connected with friends and family through blog posts, photos, videos and comments.
Once you're a fan, you can also add photos and videos to the page, write on the wall, and connect with other Voxers in ways you may not have previously. Plus, it's a great opportunity to let people know about your Vox blog, or start discussion topics. To become a fan, just visit the official Vox.com Facebook page and click the "Become a Fan" button in the upper right hand corner.
Once you've joined, why not post a response to the current discussion topic? Just post a link (and a brief description, if you'd like) to what you consider one of your all-time best Vox posts.

A few months ago, .tiff hipped me to a little series on YouTube called "Drunk History". The concept is simple: Someone gets shit-faced drunk, and then tells the story of some historical event while being filmed. The film of the storyteller is spliced with footage of the event being re-enacted, according to the storyteller, by people like Michael Cera and Jack Black.
The most recent episode is, in my opinion, the best. Enjoy.
Final project for Advanced Flash. Assignment was basically to use trigonometry to rotate something around a point. I also added the math that makes the eyes watch the cookie, as I did with the updated version of Rudy vs. Chicken Bone.
